In light of the current Coronavirus situation, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board are opening three additional temporary hospital sites across North Wales to help with the high demand on our services. We urgently need clinical and non-clinical staff to help us through this period. Our bank offices are taking applications for all roles and can organise block bookings over the coming months.
This is an unprecedented situation and joining Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board at this time will be a rewarding experience for anyone who wishes to play a vital part in overcoming coronavirus.
Please be assured that we have a good supply of PPE for anyone dealing with patients being treated for coronavirus. For anyone working in the temporary hospitals we will be providing free food for shift breaks during unsocial hours and, if you are moving to the area temporarily or may need a place to stay between shifts, then we may be able to offer free accommodation. Supported transport for staff of the health board may also be arranged.
If you would like to express an interest in joining the BCUHB bank in the coming weeks can you please include any preferences of hours and departments you would like to work, stating your relevant experience for these areas. Once you have registered your interest, one of our teams will be in contact with you over the phone to discuss next steps.
We expect to be able to offer bank workers the opportunity for securing block bookings for a longer periods. Once registered on the bank, even if the shifts you can work are not visible on the EOL portal, it is recommended that you email your interest in block bookings to the bank team who may be able to arrange it with the department.
